More details? App? Brand of sd carte? Blazon of files? How do you take them organized? Do you accept a .nomedia file where it shouldn't exist? Etc.?
200gb Lg Brand Micro SD. Using the stock file app . The pop up comes up on all types of media files.
I can still play files on es file explorer however apps such as black player and the stock music app exercise not recognize any media on the sd card unless I transfer it into the internal storage. I removed all .nomedia files from the card and the carte works perfectly fine when plugged in to whatsoever other device.

Depending on how much media yous have (hopefully less than available internal space) transfer everything to internal memory using es file explorer (or Root explorer - my preference) (avoid the Android folder - but backup any app information you have cause if whatever apps save their information to the sd card, information technology will be lost in this method forth with any apps you installed to the sd card *just redownload them from play store*).
And so format SD carte using phone.
So transfer everything dorsum to the SD carte du jour
FYI doing this changes the modified date of any photos/videos so the telephone will think they're new. Merely drawback of doing this. I had an issue with my Samsung 256gb carte du jour and that was the only manner I could get information technology to prepare.

In that location was a lost.dir binder on the SD card (along with others from the tablet) the binder seemed empty (didn't check for hidden files) I deleted the lost.dir folder and the telephone can now come across everything. (pictures all in gallery now also as mp3s showing in music players)
Worked for me... Not sure if it will use to your situation merely I figured I'd share...

Hi All,
I am experiencing a similar issue with a specific app (only so far) - 9gag.
Whenever I download an image from their feed with the dedicated 'salvage' button, it volition save information technology onto my internal storage (can't modify the location of that via app), but it won't show in my gallery.
When I try to open the imaeg in the file explorer it says 'scanning media files... try again after scan is completed' - however, no matter how long I await, I can't open up it and it never becomes visible in the gallery.
I tried following things then far:
- reboot: it works, every time I reboot, all files are scanned and in the gallery, notwithstanding, if I save farther images, the new ones won't prove upward until I reboot again
- stop media scanning service and clear data: no issue
- rename folder: no effect
- rename file: this works, it shows upwards in gallery
- re-create/motion onto sd card: this works as well, it shows up in gallery
Equally yous can see, in that location ARE ways I can make the pics visible, merely none of them is a sustainable mode. I tin't reboot or rename afterwards each image I save, that's pure madness.
Any ideas what else I tin effort?
Oh and btw, all other apps practice work, for example if I salve files from screenshots, downloads, Line or WeChat, the phone does create a folder in the aforementioned way it does for 9gag and it is visible in the gallery with no problems, so it might be app specific? I as well reached out to 9gag already only i don't think they will reply...
