In sci-fi circles, the Conflicting and Predator franchises are two of the most respected titles always. And it'southward non just movies. Countless comics, novels, video games and other consumables have continued to expand their respective universes. 2004 Inkworks Alien vs Predator trading cards cover the cinematic mash-up that had previously been limited to the pages of comics.
The ninety-card set up features story and behind-the-scenes cards. Information technology'south complimented past a variety of chase programs including autographs and Pieceworks costume cards. Given the fact that the movie's focus is on costumed characters and not Hollywood stars, the names on the checklist aren't exactly household names. As far as autographs go, the virtually notable is Ian Whyte but that's not because of his fame. Rather, it's his role every bit Scar, a Predator.
Lance Henriksen is the biggest name, withal his card isn't available in packs. Inkworks got him to sign tardily. Rather than the standard shorthand cards, he has a signed base carte that was given out to dealers as a case incentive. Henriksen has a long history with the Alien franchise as well as a long career that has included a lot of genre films.
2004 Inkworks Conflicting vs Predator Autographs and Pieceworks costume cards are both inserted one per box. Information technology's important to note that all the Pieceworks cards and three of the seven pack-inserted autographs are redemptions that are no longer valid.
Inkworks initially announced that original sketch cards would exist inserted only in sealed cases, but a last-second change saw a few make their way into packs.
The release besides has a couple of basic inserts. Survival of the Fiercest is a ix-card foil puzzle. The Deadliest Game is another foil set up that goes into the background of both titular species.
